Double-click on the 'Connect to the Internet' icon. If you
don't see see this icon on your desktop, click on 'Start' |
'Programs' | 'Accessories' | 'Communications' | 'Internet Connection
Wizard'.
On the 'Welcome' screen, select 'I want to
set up my Internet connection manually' and click on
'Next'.
Select 'I connect through a phone line and a modem'
and click on 'Next'.
Click on the 'Advanced' button, and then on the
'Addresses' tab.
Under 'IP address' make sure that 'Internet service
provider automatically provides one' is selected.
Under 'DNS server address' select 'Always use the
following:'
Type 204.117.214.10 and click on 'Add', then
Type 199.2.252.10 and click on 'Add' again.
Click on 'OK'. Enter the phone number for the
Webbworks, Online dialup in your area. Numbers are listed in your
Startup Kit. Make sure that 'Use area code and dialing
rules' is not selected.

If you are in an area that uses 10 digit local dialing, leave
the area code field blank and put all 10 digits in the phone
number field.
Click on 'Next'.
Enter your login name as username@webbworks.com.
Enter your password exactly as you choose it, in using the appropriate upper and lower case letters. Click on 'Next'.
Enter 'Webbworks' for a connection name, and click on
'Next'.
You will then be asked if you want to continue setting up an Internet
Mail account. If you have no preference in web browsers, we recommend
that you select 'Yes', and click on 'Next' to continue
setupof the MS Internet Explorer and Outlook Express. Perform the following
steps only if you do *not* wish to use MS Internet Explorer as
your web browser.
If you do not wish to use the MS Internet Explorer as your web
browser and email program, select 'No' and click on
'Next'.
Make sure to select the box for 'To connect to the Internet
immediately...' and click on 'Finish'.
Make sure that your Webbworks username is listed correctly.
Enter your password, and make sure you remove anything that
appears in that field before typing your own password.
Click on 'Connect'.
Note: You may select the 'Save Password' field, which may allow
you to connect to Webbworks in the future without having to
re-enter your password. Our technical staff has found this option to
be problematic, however, and we can not guarantee that it will work
consistently.
